About

Lume Women + Health is a first-of-its-kind medical clinic built to close one of healthcare’s most persistent gaps: the lack of evidence-based, personalized care for women. Their all-female physician team aims to meet each woman’s unique health concerns with compassion and expertise through personalized care and comprehensive health solutions. They focus on critical gaps in women’s health, including hormonal health, bone and muscle health, and pelvic and sexual wellness. Lume offers two signature health services: Personal Health Assessment (offering a comprehensive review into a woman’s whole health with a prevention focus) and Perimenopause/Menopause wellness and support program.

The Founder

Lume Women + Health was founded by three physicians—Dr. Woganee Filate, Dr. Amy Louis Bayliss, and Dr. Sarah Naomi Shaw—and business leader Lindsay Stollery Jephcott, united by a shared frustration with the limitations of traditional healthcare. With over 50 years of combined medical experience, the doctors left successful practices to create a new model centered on prevention, extended appointment times, and evidence-based care for women. They joined forces with Lindsay, a seasoned private equity investor to reimagine how women’s health is delivered in Canada.
