Othership is a space for transformation to collectively explore the sauna to sweat, ice baths to drop-in, and an extrasensory experience to shift your state – as you are – with others. Founded by Robert Bent, Emily Bent, Myles Farmer, Amanda Laine, and Harrison Taylor, Othership is building the future of emotional wellness by offering Journeyers an immersive and social sauna + ice bath experience. The vision is to create playful peak experiences that enhance emotional and physical well-being in a way that inspires awe and belonging, for all.
Located at 110 Bloor St. West and 425 Adelaide St. West, in Toronto.
We fell in love with Othership a couple years ago when they'd just opened their Adelaide location in Toronto. The concept was so fresh and the way they executed it immediately piqued our interest. Sexy lighting, great tunes, inviting scents - there was nothing not to like! On our first Othership journey, the guides somehow managed to get us both into the ice tubs (for the record, we typically HATE the cold); they coached us to push past our limits and get very *zen master* for 120 incredible seconds, submerged in freezing cold water. WHAT. A. RUSH. We left feeling powerful and enlivened. And we've been hooked ever since. The Yorkville location is a welcome addition, featuring more space (the sauna is truly a sight to see!) and more of the good vibes we fell in love with on our first visit. If you're looking for something to do in Toronto that doesn't involve a bar or a restaurant, climb aboard the Othership. You won't regret it.
