About

Gelinas Dental Studio is located in Roncesvalles Village, proudly serving Toronto’s west end community. Combining modern technology with contemporary techniques in a beautiful environment, Dr. Gelinas and her team are setting a new standard of care in dentistry.

Our goal is to ease the anxiety typically associated with visiting the dentist and inspire you to look forward to taking care of your dental health.

The Founder

Dr. Andrea Gelinas brings a sense of ease and style to her practice. Having lived in Mexico, South Korea, the Philippines, and the United States, she drew upon inspiration from around the world in creating her namesake dental studio. Dr. Gelinas meticulously planned and decorated the layout, taking her patients’ comfort carefully into consideration. As a parent herself, she prioritized the experience of adults and children equally, making sure to seize every opportunity to infuse a little fun into the space. In her spare time (when she has it), she does pilates, hunts for vinyl records, and makes valiant attempts at having a social life.

We met Dr. Gelinas in 2019 and upon entering her light-bathed, art-filled, mid-century modern dental studio (complete with chill house music pumping gently through the speakers) it was clear that we'd found our new forever dentist. Andrea Gelinas is detail-oriented and understands that the nerves of the people entering her practice are on high alert, so she does everything in her power to make her office experience calm and positive. From TVs on the ceiling (that pair with noise cancelling Bose headphones to drown out the scary dentist sounds), to an espresso machine in the waiting room, to the most gentle hygienists who don't send you off with feelings of deep shame for forgetting to floss for a few months, Gelinas Dental Studio really is the place to be for dental wellbeing.
