We’re back, baby!

Last week we hosted an incredible immersive educational cannabis experience that gave our community a chance to discover new product categories, explore these options in real life (with shopping assistance from the amazing team at Miss Jones), hear from MADGE AND MERCER founder Shauna Levy about her journey into the cannabis space and just HAVE SOME GOOD OLD FASHION FUN!

We sipped Barbet full flavoured sparkling beverages, snacked on nibbles from Snack Conscious, and shared our stories, experiences and curiosities surrounding cannabis.

We got a chance to walk the audience through the product selections from our RM Edit at Miss Jones which features brands like Little Victory, Bhang, Wana and MADGE & MERCER Modern Apothecary.

So many people had questions about how to read labels, what to look for in terms of balance (THC to CBD ratios), and the intended effects of different products. The staff at Miss Jones was amazing at answering everyone’s queries so if you’re canna-curious, go pay them a visit. Tell them The Rebel Mamas sent you. 😉

And if you can’t get there in person but you’d like to try to products from our edit, you can shop them all month online as well with a 15% discount when you use code RMEdit at checkout. Click here to shop.

We created this edit to help mamas ease into this whole new world of cannabis oils, edibles, and beverages. The products are dosed in a way that will help you figure out the right amount for YOU to achieve the desired effect. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us ([email protected]) and we’ll direct you to a trustworthy resource or you can go straight to the source and visit one of the 20 Miss Jones locations in Ontario and let them be your guide.

Some key take-aways from the event were:

  • When it comes to figuring out your ideal dose, always start low and go slow.
  • Your lungs need not be involved in the process.
  • Dispensaries can be incredibly warm and inviting places (as long as you choose the right one).
  • Most people are still in the discovery phase when it comes to cannabis (read: you’re not alone in your confusion!).
  • Edibles now come in slow release AND rapid release formats (ie. Wana & WanaQuick).
  • Cannabis and skincare are not mutually exclusive.
  • Figuring what works for you should be FUN! It’s a journey and it takes some trial and error but with such a wide range of options, there really is something for everyone.
